Right off the bat, the company burst onto the scene in the Indian market as a leading importer of Pangasius Hypothalamus, colloquially known as Basa Fish. As a result, the company dominated the market in Delhi / NCR. Eventually, the company widened its ambit of operations to other parts of North India as well.

The company set up its first operational branch in Punjab and this branch also catered to the product distribution operations in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir etc. The initial diligence certainly paid off as Wiser Foods captured a colossal 40% market share in the state of Punjab. As a result, the company cut swath in the industry and gained recognition all over the country by early 2014.
In order to be responsive to the market’s growing demand for miscellaneous frozen food, Wiser Foods revamped its existing portfolio of products.
